Step into a transformative journey with Working Options. We’re on a mission to empower young people aged 14-19 across England and Wales, and you can help make a real difference.
Volunteer Manager
Join us as our first Volunteer Manager
Help scale our network of 800+ volunteers who supported 73,000 young people in 2024. This new role will lead volunteer attraction, retention, and experience – ensuring every volunteer feels valued and equipped to make a real impact. You’ll develop strategic partnerships, diversify our volunteer base, and shape best practices across our growing team. Remote role with regular in-person meet-ups across England and Wales.
Strategic Head of Wales
Lead our expansion across Wales
Following our successful 2024 launch in Wales (reaching 20,000 students in a quarter of Welsh secondary schools), we’re seeking a strategic lead to scale our impact. You’ll develop relationships with funders, government, media, and key partners to secure our long-term sustainability and growth toward our 2029 goal: reaching every state secondary school in Wales. Work closely with our CEO, Trustees, Ambassadors, and Wales delivery team to build profile, partnerships, and income. Flexible full-time or part-time role.

“Coming from a working-class town and family, I didn’t know how to realise my ambitions and bring my ambition to life in practical terms. Working Options gave me the knowledge and understanding that you just don’t get from college or school or education alone.”
