At the end of September, Ken Edwards, our Chief Executive is moving on. It’s been a very busy few years at the charity and Ken has seen us through lots of positive changes with enthusiasm, passion and determination. He will be missed!
“Working Options in Education is a very different organisation from when I started,” says Ken “and I’m immensely proud to leave in place a great team to carry on the important work for those students and young people that need it most.”
Paul Monk, Co-Founder added his thanks, “On behalf of the whole team at Working Options in Education, I would like to thank Ken for his contribution and send him very best wishes for the future.”
We’re delighted to be welcoming Rachel Roxburgh, who joins as interim Chief Executive from 1st October following a period with the charity as Strategic Advisor. Rachel is hugely experienced in the charity and fundraising sector having worked at Cancer Research UK, Duke of Edinburgh Award and most recently for Dallaglio Rugby Works.
“I have been very impressed with the punch this small charity has in helping students realise their potential in the world of work. I very much look forward to building on the success and working alongside the passionate Board, team and supporters,” says Rachel.
